DIGIDIA has the complete solution for the transmission of FM programs through a network of FM transmitters using the same channel for a dedicated coverage area. The proposed system allows to synchronize all the FM transmitters within the same SFN (Single Frequency Network) cell, in order to avoid interferences when switching from one area (covered by one transmitter) to another one, like along the motorways for instance.
DRM (Digital Radio Mondiale) is an international standard for digital radio in the LW, MW and SW bands (frequencies below 30MHz also called DRM30). DRM+ is an extension of the DRM standard for the bands lower than 230MHz. So it includes the VHF Bands I, II & III (including therefore the FM bands). DIGIDIA has the complete solution for any DRM30 / DRM+ applications with a complete set of reliable and professional products and systems, easy to install, easy to use and easy to maintain and fully compliant with the standard.
This product line allows to setup many applications following the Eureka147 family of standards including digital radio (DAB with MPEG Layer II encoding and associated data, DAB+ with MPEG4 AAC HE v2 encoding and associated data, DMB Visual Radio with BIFS associated data), mobile TV (DMB Mobile TV, DAB-IP with Enhanced Packet Mode) and push data (MOT, TPEG, IP Tunnelling...) applications both in Band III and in L-Band.
The DIGIDIA DAB/DAB+/DMB product line consists in a complete set of reliable and professional products and systems, easy to install, easy to use, easy to maintain and fully compliant with all the standards belonging to the Eureka147 family. DIGIDIA is full member of the WorldDAB consortium.
